A little animal helper

Do not underestimate the help and inspiration of our non-human friends; Sheryl at Gawith doesn't: she has her cat Penny to help her with her homework! I wish I had a little non-human friend like this one, or even Ruskine, the little Chilean tarantula I had to leave behind in Norway (named after Bjorn Erik's late dog Ruskin, because just as hairy, if with double the number of legs!) ;-)) Posted by Picasa

Never thought to blog this .... I have no imagination. I nearly wet myself laughing when Ruth sent it.

Sometimes it does the soul good to get away from all the Tarot-related stuff? Don't know about Ruth, but this little cockatiel sure would represent a help and inspiration to me! ;-))

I thought that the photo was taken at your place, and that you had a little 'avine' companion.

Nice little story, too !

Not allowed... They will only fish, but not anything can escape to 'scare' other tenants! ;-P

Ruth and Mike have a heap of these little guys swooping around the house. Mike has one which is particularly protective of his office. He is the archetypal attack cockateil LOL. They like to sit on your head, and if you have just washed your hair and it is slippery clean, they tend to slide off, landing in sqwarky heaps on the table. They are also fond of chewing earrings, buttons, tearing wallpaper from walls and chewing on the plaster moldings and so on. It is always an adventure visiting. They also tend to take over phone calls by sitting on Ruth's shoulder and chattering into the mouthpiece.

They really are amusing little flying chickens.
