I begin my Voodoo journey with this card, "the little guardian angel" as opposed to the "big guardian angel" of the Sun: kind of takes me back to (Catholic) primary school and the little angel sitting on our shoulder, who writes all of our good deeds in gold on one side of a ledger, and all our bad deeds in black on the other side... It pays to stay in sweet with one's "little angel"; I wonder what sort of offering/sacrifice she would like?

Between the Voodoo and the Whimsical, you have been busy LOL.

Haven't had time to read much ... I have books to read ... hehehehe!

Hope you weren't too tired after yesterday. And, dopey me didn't even think of it, I could have given you a couple of eggs. Forgot that I had bought some last week shopping. I don't eat many so I forget they exist.

I have to get even busier with the Voodoo before next Saturday, i.e. read, read and re-read! I feel so honoured and excited by the presence of these cards in my house, I have had to seriously 'bond with' and welcome them. Strange physical sensations, like the weak-kneed feeling you get when meeting a new lover, cramp in my right leg (partial possession by Papa Legba, who walks with a limp, and a cane, a good thing, since Papa Legba amounts to the one who opens the way for working with them?). I feel one does need some sort of acquaintance with and respect for the individual loa (spirits) of the cards, as well as a knowledge of the regular Tarot, to work with them! I feel I have begun to build this up... The journey just begins, but they already took me into a wonderful meditative place with my own patience/solitaire spread this morning... Actually having the cards in your hands feels a lot different to working with them online, energetically speaking. They also told me, this morning, not to use reversals with them: that makes things too complicated! lol So for now I will just practice reading them 'straight'...;-))

Congratulations on your new purchase. It sounds like you are having lots of fun with it. I look forward to a reading with the cards if you are, perchance, looking for someone to read for.

I'm so glad that they (cards and loa) are feeling alive in their new home (you). I loved them ... and felt that connection ... but they are not my path, but yours.
The Zelator now ... oh words fail me. I will indeed get my own copy. The white cards for creating my 'silly' deck are becoming filled with quotes from the book and ideas for my not-silly deck ... which is of course silly ... for it is all about the way of the fool LOL
