Due to the delayed appearance of today's cyber-Tarot...
Check out Richard Harris as the King of Swords in the very, very fine expose on my friend Sebi's blog (Being Sebastian Aristos in blogroll in the sidebar)...and a very, very fine figure of a king he makes! (Also, incidentally, the only male the Crone Tarot did not obliterate, so that must amount to some sort of compliment, i.e. even crones can do with "professional help" occasionally? lol) If you want to see my loonier version, after checking out Sebi's "very, very fine" one, you will have to plunge deep into the readings in the deep, dark archives of September?
And also, Sebi, if you want to enhance your "abundance consciousness", as opposed to your "poverty consciousness", you need look no further than today's rune of Fehu: what better talisman to wear somehow on your person at all times? Make it your own!
Still no cyber-Tarot this morning (*grr, Blogger!*), but one of my spammers (!) has kindly led me to a great Tarot link: see blogroll for the "best free, online Tarot site ever": you can register and participate totally free, and the decks and spreads you can choose seem totally worth exploring, so if you hang out for a Tarot 'fix', you know where to know!
Also, had my 3rd consecutive, Tarot-related dream last night: my son Josh and I found ourselves in that "little place in the country" towards which we travelled in a previous dream (!), and he had me do a painting as a present for my mum, framed and hung on the garage wall in readiness, although I still did not speak to her (literally!). In another part of the dream, I played "literati Tarot", like last night, only this time I painted as I played, coming up with great swirly initial letters, lots of glitter and abstract elements, etc, on a literati board... It seemed fun!!
Spread Name: Card of the Day with Commentary;-))
Temperance - Mixing and blending of opposites; compromise and cooperation.
1. On the level of consciousness moderation stands for the harmony between body,
mind, and soul. This means we have come to terms with and like ourselves,
experience a state of peaceful repose within, live in harmony with the world,
and have left behind all forms of overzealousness, tormenting doubt, and
selfaccusation. This far-reaching experience enables us, without lofty ambitions
or complacency, to create peace, guide others towards contentment, and be a good
3 of Wands - Initial completion of an idea or project.
2. In the scope of our personal relationships the 3 of Wands means that we have
created a supportive, mutual basis from which we can look towards the future
with confidence. Relationships characterized by this card are promising,
reliable, and enduring. During times when we are alone, this card means that we
have created the inner, perhaps also the outer, prerequisites and now may look
forward to a lively, lasting partnership.
Page of Swords - Intelligence, youthfulness, and an inclination to gossip.
3. In the professional field Page of Swords means that we must be prepared for
conflicts, hostility, discord, perhaps even polemic attacks. The card can
represent the (unjustified) reprimand by a superior, as well as the growing
rivalry within a group of colleagues, or disagreements with business partners.
It can express a threat to us in the face of precarious assignments. With this
background, it can mean the beginning of the end of our previous occupation, as
well as possibly the fresh, even biting wind that clears the air of our working
