Aussie opals: a natural wonder from down under! ;-))
Btw, I also had a dream night before last, that I kind of 'adopted' as a protege one of the clients at Gawith Villa, and the connecting link seems the 'secret' posted re Bjorn Erik, i.e. diagnosis of clinical insanity because of equating oneself to 'God'; as per What the Bleep, shouldn't we rather take the approach, "Yes, true, but so seems everyone else..."? There, Sebi, do you like that better as a slightly longer post? But I do really like that opal boulder pic, and want such a necklace myself, if only because the Dreamtime Oracle also thought Opal one of my totems, or dreamings. Little bits of rainbow (serpent) captured in stone... Something about its wild, earthy, elemental beauty also reminds me of how the Navajo use the word "beauty", and maybe that has something to do with the fact that "beautify" features as a keyword in today's galactic signature ;-))
Today's cyber-Tarot (also my card of the year, remember?):
Haindl Tarot: The Lovers (possibly one of the most diversely represented)
Zain, sword; Ken, K, torch; Gemini.
Torch (as in the rune Ken) reminds me of the Psyche and Eros myth (one of my few paintings to sell, too, btw), to which I have always related, as in Psyche bending over the sleeping Eros with her torch and waking him with the spilt hot wax... If the image seems a bit aggressively heterosexual, consider that psychologically speaking we all constitute 'psyche', i.e. 'soul' or 'anima', therefore spiritually at least feminine; Eros seems on the other hand always masculine, as the 'other' coming from without ;-))
The Lovers cross arms behind a cup. In the sky appear a spear, a unicorn and a rose within a Star of David. The trees on either side refer to the Garden of Eden, with the Tree of Life and the Tree Knowledge. The woman's hair looks like pitted rock, a sign of the ancientness of human sexual traditions (and crystal, opal or gemstone, i.e. earthy, beauty?). The ground shows the earthiness of love; the unicorn and the rose reflect is mystical qualities. Beautiful and complex imagery indeed, to get into one card: note also the symbols of all four elements, i.e. in the interests of completeness or wholeness love should have four aspects: the spiritual, the intellectual, the emotional and the physical ;-))
